Nationality: Japanese. Speaks Japanese and Cantonese.

Weapon: A switch-bladed shortsword. It was not made for heavy combat and cannot take much punishment before getting damaged, so she wouldn't block or parry an attack with it. Concealed within the back of her obi.


- Background


As a young girl, Yukie was sold to a wealthy Chinese man by her father. She was taken to China to serve under the man's king as a Kunoichi.

Years later, following events that forced her to escape, she returned to Japan with a prince she worked under. Yukie had partaken in the culmination of said events, and regrets in doing so. She took the prince to her home country in order to make up for what she had done, in order to start a new life.


Now the girl works in a local brothel. She is popular with the clients for her beauty and young age, and is considered the most valuable asset for the business owner. As a result Yukie is given more freedom and often takes walks with Kouji around town. But because of her special treatment, she is generally disliked by her colleagues (other prostitutes).

What the business owner doesn't know is that her clients never got their grubby hands on her. With her cunning she coaxes clients into talking to her about their problems instead, and acts as a more 'constructive' outlet. Bit like a therapist. This allows her to be constantly updated with news and rumors which she shares with Kouji when they're together.

Sometimes there are stubborn men who won't back down just to hear a few gentle words. These clients are dealt with by sneaking a pinch to the right pressure point and are left to wake in the morning. Stripped.

Yukie is a part of SDL to take part in tasks that are more appropriate for her than they are for Kouji. It is also her way of expressing loyalty to him, in which she hopes will never ever break.


- Personality

With a very elegant disposition and a soft gentle voice, she seems to be nothing more than a young, beautiful woman. Despite her motherly nature however, she is cunning and will use the most efficient means to complete an objective whether it be through trickery or combat. She still carries some distrust for men after her father had sold her.

She does not have any friends besides Kouji, who is currently the only man she trusts completely. Her clients are perverted men and her co-workers are bitter at the special treatment she gets. As a result she is generally stressed and quite dependent on Kouji's wellbeing.

This being said she can also snap, unleashing a flurry of insults and rants under her breath.

- Winter is her favourite season. She loves the snow and is resistant to cold.
- Natural born swimmer
-Feels uncomfortable in the heat, so would sometimes show a little more skin than what is decent.


- Fighting style

To complement her compulsory Kunoichi training (which includes all generic things a ninja does), she sought out a martial artist to improve her lacking in close range combat. This martial artist was a master of Ba Gua Zhang, and taught Yukie all he knew.

As years passed, Yukie added elements of Ba Gua to the nimble agility of a kunoichi. As a result her attacks are unpredictable and she can strike from any angle. However she still lacks raw power and will not fare well in a battle of endurance or strength.

Do keep in mind though, that she IS a Kunoichi. Meaning she's stealthy, tricky, and has taken part in a number of assassinations before.
